I am sitting in class right now while the students around me fall soundly into their afternoon naps, finish their last pieces of homework, or the really (hot) clever ones even proceed to knit this sweet hat.  This is a class where our main job is to watch movies and critique them using a certain system that we learn.  Its a huge class that is actually in a theatre, which is kind of cool, but the professor tends to ramble, and the movies are pretty corny.  A few weeks ago i began looking around the room at the different types of people that attend the class, and i must say it is very entertaining!  There is a boy who sits in the front row who has these sweet dreds that have beer bottle caps attached at the end of them (one day i really want to take a picture, but i just haven’t gotten up the nerve).  There are the few members of the class who must be in their late 40s, i like to call these guys “the hardcores”, they sit there taking note after note (i’m pretty sure they even right down the teachers corny jokes), sometimes they even have their tape recorders set up, as to make sure they don’t miss a beat.  My favorite group of people to watch as got to be this group of three girls, they are the typical cheerleader type, you know the bleach blonde, fake nails, fake tan sluts!  I’m not sure why they are here, they must have gotten lost, or followed in some hot guy, and just never found the need to leave.   I have officially been in class for almost 30 minutes and the professor has yet to stop talking, and the movie has yet to play!  My favorite thing to do… when i am not stocking other members of my class is to look up knitting patterns, and get new ideas for my addiction!  O well i guess this class will be an easy A!  Until next time, I’m signing off, only to listen to some british professor ramble for another hour!
