As most of you know at the end of the ski season (about 6 weeks ago) i took a job with a local rafting company!!  i was so excited for this job, although i was not going to be guiding i thought it was pretty much the perfect job for me, not to mention with such great pay i would be able to just work one job!!! YES!!! so for six weeks i have been looking forward to this job, counting down the days until i could not only start work, but also until i could get my first paycheck… which by this point would be MUCH needed.

Well after over a month of waiting it was finally time to start training and preparing for the season.  I did 2 office training days, and got set up to go down the river (all office employees are required to raft the river before answering phone calls about the river).  the day before i was suppose to go down the river and start work i get a call from my boss telling me that they had a girl from last year come back, and that they would no longer need me for the job!!!! WHAT!!!!  i can’t tell you how upset i was, if blood could boil mine would have! not only was i super pissed, and really annoyed, i was scared, i had no idea what i was going to do for money, not to mention this was the first time EVER i didn’t have a job, and i hated it!!!  My boss continued to tell me that i was welcome to come rafting with them tomorrow, in which i quickly, and very nastily replied “actually i’m going to have to spend that time looking for a new job, since i have relied on this one for the past 6 weeks!!”

So now here i am a few days later, and much calmer, and i know its for the best, sure i’m still mad, but what can i do?  i have a job interview tomorrow, and in the mean time i have taken a paper route. haha ya i know i feel like i am seven when i say that, but it should be pretty sweet, its an extra $800 a month, besides its only 2 hours a day, and i will be done by 6:30a.m.!!!
