Old Homestead

So I am doing a little babysitting this morning while my next door neighbor/ good friend goes to the gym for some toning, and talking!  It has really been a crazy few weeks… as you can probably guess I am back in Red Lodge.  I have been here for almost three weeks now, and a lot has changed in my life since pulling out  of good old Bozo.  I guess this is just the spring for growth ( I say spring loosely, as it is snowing outside), I have been doing quite a bit of soul searching since I have been here and come up with some new “moves” for my life.  Now I am not quite ready to spill the beans yet, but when I do you’ll be the first ones to know!

Until then I will leave you with a list of some of the fun stuff I have been doing while in the R of L!

  • Dancing… Lots of dancing
  • cookouts and BBQ’s
  • Skiing… sometimes in slush
  • Working on my Goggle tan
  • Babysitting
  • Solving Mysteries
  • Making new friends from Shy Town
  • Throwing going away parties
  • Going to the employee party on the mountain
  • Having Snowball Fights
  • Watching Snow Motion- which is this REALLY hilarious ski movie from the 80s that you should remind me/badger me to write a post about!  it is probably one of the “greatest” things I have ever seen in my life!
  • Helped Make Ty’s Meed, which is a type of wine
  • Learned to play Cribbage
  • Watched it snow… after the mountain was closed BOO
  • Thought about college
  • Learned how to knit a new hat… which is AWESOME
  • And Learned that Dolly Freakin Moe is one of the Coolest People I know

O ya and one last thing, although I am not putting it on my list.  I have learned that sometimes you are given all you can handle, sometimes God throws you for a loop, and tries to take you down with all the hard stuff at once, but that’s OK. If these are my trials I am looking forward to the rewards.  I am not “pumping the brakes”, I am “full speed ahead”.  Although I have shed some tears lately, and although I am still upset with the outcome of certain situations I am proud of my behavior, and the person that I will become from my cercomstances.

Also I would just like to add that boys are tricky… they really are a breed of their own.  I am still learning them (and loving them), but mostly I JUST WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND!!!

Peace & Love

and until next time

XOXO
