10 things to be thankful for this week

  1. a five day weekend- o yes i love it, a five day weekend and nothing to do!!! this is the first weekend this summer that i have had totally free… no work, no drives to red lodge, no weddings, no moving, no painting, and no stressing over school!!!! just me my bed, and the latest Twilight saga… i will be writing a post on that book series just as soon as i finish the last book (700 pgs to go!!!)
  2. my cozy little room- i recently moved out of my drab basement apartment apartment and into a house with my friend katie.  where i not only have a garage to park my car in, a hot tub to soak my tired body in, and a rent check that is almost $250 dollars cheeper a month, but i also have the ability to paint my room.  so the first weekend here i spent the weekend painting my walls a pear green color… all but one, the remanding wall is a wine red color, it is amazing, and my room looks stellar ( i will post pics soon).
  3. Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight Series- these four books have changed my life, i am soooo serious.  i know it sounds crazy, but i was a sceptic when i started them, and i am a total believer. she is an amazing writer, and Bella and Edward are all that i can ever wish for in a romance.
  4. Mortimer- this is my stuffed moose that i have had since i was 6.  he is very beet up, and the wired in his ears are falling out, and poking me, but he sleeps with me every night and keeps the monsters away.  
  5. Northern Exposure- i love this show, i fall asleep to it almost every night.  growing up i lived in a town my like Sisely Alaska so i can really relate to it.
  6. Beads- i have spent most of the weekend creating new pieces of jewelry this weekend and i love beads.
  7. sodaku- this is my dad’s favorite game, and i just thought i would give it a shout out, i love playing it with him!
  8. the fish blanket- this is a quilt that my mom made when i was really young.  ever since she pulled the last stitch i have claimed it as my own, and when i moved back to MT i stole it from her.  now that it is turning cold again it dawns my bed every night, it has so many memories, and it keeps my toasty warm… even if it doesn’t match my decor at all.
  9. the snow- it is in the forecast for tonight!!!!
  10. my dad-  i love him so much.  he makes me proud to be his daughter, and for that i will always be thankful!

10 things that amaze me this week

  1. Eric Blain Scherer- how can someone make me so crazy, and be absolutely lovable all at once?
  2. Pandora- if you have never tried this new music phenomenon i would highly recommend taking a look at www.Pandora.com, it is this amazing website where you can pretty much make your own radio station. (i’m actually listening to it right now)
  3. my sister- this is kind of a weird one, but my sister has had 2 c sections (and now has 2 amazing girls, 2yrs, and one month) and after all of that pain and misery for 9 LONG months, and a painful surgery at then end i guarantee that she would do it all over again for another one!
  4. spray paint- i have never really used spray paint until this weekend, and i must say that i love it, who couldn’t love something that is so quick and looks so good! WOW
  5. Twilight book series- i just started reading them last weekend and i am IN LOVE!!! each book is like 500 pages, and i am already half way through the 2nd one!
  6. Norris Hot Spring- AAAH whats not to love about hot water, it just amazes me how a spring can be hot, and how absolutely pretty it is out there!!! you gotta go!
  7. water heaters- they never meant a thing to me until i  moved into a house that desperately needs a new one!
  8. the fact that i am “trailer trash”- yes thats right i just recently moved into a trailer, but i really can’t complain since i have an indoor hot tub, and a garage!!!
  9. wall paper- i don’t know what the people of the 70’s were thinking with their hideous wall paper, but it is sick, and it absolutely amazes me!!! yuck!
  10. i amaze myself!!! duh as usual i never cease to amaze myself!!!!!!!!

  1. the fact that i only have two more days in this gross apartment!!! i have been cleaning, and packing for the past two weeks, so friday really cant come soon enough!
  2. Amy, and the fact that her tumor was not cancer, and that the scare is really little, and looks like a smily face on her neck… her words not mine ha!
  3. the olympics, i love them, i wish i could swim like these men and women… or are they dolphins?
  4. my friends and family who have so graciously helped (or should i say “have been forced”) me move out of my small hell hole!
  5. paint, i am so excited to paint my room in the new house that i could just burst, i am just so sick of bare walls
  6. Jessica, and the fact that she lives in NY, and the fact that i will very soon be going to see her!!! YAY!
  7. the fact that i work at a job were there is an endless amount of vacant boxes… this makes moving a dream!
  8. . clean magic erasers… these things are truly amazing, just try them sometime and you will understand
  9. microwave dinners, this is perfect for lunches at work, and for nights when this girl just can’t even think cooking
  10. animals, and my extreme desire to own one!
