This is probably one of the most romantic songs I have heard in a long time, and with V day just around the courner I guess it just made me a little bit mooshy! but anyways here are the lyrics, which really don’t give the song justice so you should give the song a listen too!
I guess love is pretty powerful when its right!
I’ve been beaten down, I’ve been kicked around,
But she takes it all for me.
And I lost my faith, in my darkest days,
But she makes me want to believe.
They call her love, love, love, love, love. (x2)
She is love, and she is all I need.
She’s all I need.
Well I had my ways, they were all in vain,
And she waited patiently.
It was all the same, all my pride and shame,
And she put me on my feet.
They call her love, love, love, love, love. (x3)
She is love, and she is all I need. (x3)

Just wanted to let my “many” blog fans know that my blog will be suffering over the next 5 days! I will be leaving in two hours to head to Showdown Montana (White Sulfur Springs to be exact). I will be there through Sunday for a J4 Super G Qualifier! I have been super excited for this race for the past few weeks, it was my favorite race as a kid! A Super G is a course set up between a GS, and Downhill, so it is FAST and FUN! it has rollers, and kickers in it, which creates quite an obstical when traveling between 45-60mph (depending on age). I will post pictures as soon as I can, and keep you posted on how my kids (i mean my racers) do.
Have a great weekend Loves!!
PS- wish me luck, in my 10 yrs of racing, and 2 yrs. of coaching I have LITERALLY NEVER been to Showdown when it wasn’t at least -20 degrees! YIKES

so this morning i started watching a IAS marathon, i had previously watched this show and really liked it, but today it kind of meant something new to me. for those of you who don’t know i am in a transition phase of my life. i am trying to find myself, and create a “name” for myself. i have a passion to create the artistically “crafty” things in life! i truly have no idea what i want to do with my life yet, but i do feel that if i work hard enough god will open the doors.
anyways IAS meant something new to me today because it is a show about these talented people who come from nothing, or from normalcy and create “flashy”. they believe in who they are, and what they want to become, and they take that dream and make it a reality. they sit up there on a stage and tell their story to other who want the same dream. and although my dream might be different then theirs it is non the less a dream to have faith in.
so at the end of each show James (the host) will ask the same 10 questions to each guest. I think this is my favorite part of the show, i have ALWAYS wanted someone to ask me these questions, so now i will ask myself, and tell you the sometimes “graphic” truth!
1. What is your favorite word?
Love
2. What is your least favorite word?
Niger
3. What turns you on?
Laughter, Imagination, Competition, Drive, Hot boys
4. What turns you off?
Arragence, Anger, Laziness, Fear
5. What is your favorite curse word?
FUCK (sorry mom and sister)
There is another one too, it starts with C, but I won’t say the rest of it cause it is just TOO dirty
6. What sound or noise do you love?
The sound of snow crunching underneath my feet, the sound of a powerful skier hitting a slalom gate, and the words “racer ready”.
Artistically i love the sound my camera makes when i take a picture.
7. What sound or noise do you hate?
when someone “hawks a loogie”
8. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
One day i would like to be a mom
I would like to be a stand up comedian
I would love to be a writer (haha i know i have horrible grammer)
9. What profession would you not like to attempt?
Porn, or accounting
10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
“you have not failed”
oh yeah, and “Jenna is waiting on you”

there are many cases in life where you “can’t always get what you want”. wether its that new pair of shoes, or that guy who just seems “to good to be true” sometimes its just “not in the cards”. i can honestly say that life just really isn’t going my way at the moment. its not that i am in any way unhappy, or that i am regretting past decisions, but there are the few missing pieces i would like to find.
as i have mentioned in past blogs i am really unhappy with my job, well i was until i lost it. i have decided that in some weird twist of thoughts that this “mishap” is actually a blessing. after taking a few days, and many tension headache pills i have come to the conclusion that i am walking away from a job that i detest with a good reference, and some experience under my belt. (i just might have to starting selling my organs for grocery money)
on the other hand there is something that i need to give up, but this thing is going to take a little more time, and a lot more “Will”. i guess sometimes timing really is everything, and i don’t know if i’m to early or to late, but i do know that its time to pack up and move out! although i am not ready to come right out and say what i am giving up, (i am pretty sure its pretty obvious with the Capital letters) i know that i am walking away with a great friendship and a “maybe” for the future. i guess in some weird way i am willing to give up my “thoughts” to save the friendship that i have. i lost it once, and can’t imagine going through a ski season without it!
all this being said is alot easier than being done. although i went through pretty much the same thing last year i feel like this time is going to take a little more work.
well i guess i really can’t say anything else without coming and saying what i am “Willing”.
i am sure most of you know that i just recently got home from a Florida vacation where i was visiting my big sister and her family (Ryan, my brother in law, Harper my 2 year old niece, and Layne my 3 month old niece).
it was a great time, and as usual i was really sad to leave. while there we did just about everything, i went shopping (ahhh i love FL shopping), went to the beach, had dinner with friends, and of course while i was there it was halloween. halloween was a blast, i loved every moment of it! my sister made pumpkin role, which is probably one of the best desserts in the whole world, i went tricker treating, and ate LOTS of candy. Harper was a mermaid princess, and Layne was a flower child (we put her in a tye dye onzy, and put a peace sign on her cheek, and a flower headband). we went to this thing called a trunk or treat, its where people set up there cars in a row, and decorate there trunks to hand out candy to the kids. it was pretty cute!
one day after church my sister took me shopping, which was really fun, and special. i may have a huge shopping addiction, but i am the only one in the family, you see my sister doesn’t share the same love of malls as i do! but she sucked it up and took me shopping all afternoon, i think we walked just about every square inch of the Palm Beach Mall, not to mention we ate a Mrs. Feilds cookie that was pretty much TO DIE FOR! i think the best part of the day was finding “the deal of the century”, it was a pair of riding boots from Kohls and they were only $40, the same pair are $180 on Piperlime.com .
while there i was also able to surprise all of my friends from PBA, i haven’t seen them since i left so it was nice to catch up! most of them are graduating this year, getting married, and movie across the country. we even went out to dinner at Cheesecake Factory, which is one of my favorite places to get really full, and really fat all in the same meal. I also got to see my friend Amy who lives in Pompano Beach, she came up and we surprised some old friends, and talked for hours!!! it was a great time, not to mention lots of laughs!
the last night that i was there my sister, harper, and layne and i went to the beach, it was amazing! it was the perfect sunset, and the perfect weather. while we were there i took tons of photos of the girls ( in the hats that i knitted them). KT even paid for us to go onto the peer, which was fun, harper really liked all of the fishermen, and the dead fish! i got some beautiful photos of the ocean, the sunset, and those cool old school viewing machines (which i love).
it was a great trip, and i was real sad to see it go, but i as super excited to go home and edit all my photos! well when i plugged in my camera to my computer the other day something went wrong and i lost all 239 photos from my FL vacation. as you can imagine i have been devistated, photos are my life, and that vacation meant the world to me!
well at least i have the memories!

alright so yes, i know i missed day number six yesterday, but i really did have a good excuse… i didn’t have Internet, which makes writing a blog pretty difficult. so i decided i will just write for an extra day.
wow this week has been so long, seriously!!!! i have been not sleeping well, and waking up almost every night between the hours of 4a.m. and 5a.m. and staying up for atleast an hour, EVERY NIGHT!!!! if that wasn’t enough work has been a total bore this week, we have been really slow(wwwwww), we have had a total of ten patients this week, which is much different than the 10 patients that we usually have a day!
yesterday during dry land training (with bsf) we were challenged to hike the M (the large trail) and beet our time that we got a month ago. my time was 23 minutes, which was 3 minutes faster than last time, the only problem is i was 3 minutes behind the kids (yikes)!!!! not to mention that i was freezing cold, wind burnt, and wheezing to get out every breath!!! o well it was fun, and it just makes me want to work even harder!!
well tomorrow is another day, but i must say i am not looking forward to it, usually i have fridays off, but i am working tomorrow, bummer!!! ya i know “poor girl having to work for 5 days in a row”!!! haha!!! well at least i only have 3 days of work left, and only 6 days until i go on VACA!!!!

for the past few weeks i have been dying to bake some good old halloween candy and treats, i wanted to make cupcakes, and cookies, and those pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate, and then smeared with yellow and orange sprinkles. ummmm i love candy, although i am on a “diet” so i am trying not to eat that kind of stuff!!!! well today i finally decided that i would make some treats and take them into my office, all the girls bake, and bring goodies all the time so i felt as though it was my turn to show off my betty krocker baking skills!
So the first thing i needed to do was decide on a fun treat to make, i love cupcakes, so i went with that. i chose these adorable cupcakes with grave stones made out of cookies, and PEEPS ghost, then i added some crumbles oreos on top of the frosing, and one of those candy corn pumpkins! as soon as i saw them i knew that that was the treat for me!
the next thing that i needed to do was go and get the supplies for the job, sounds easy enough… well i was wrong, i ended up going to wal mart cause i though “hey i can get everything at once, and pay half the cost”! BOY WAS I WRONG!!! it took me two hours and twenty laps up and down isle after isle only to find that they didn’t have orange frosting, or the halloween fun fetty cupcake batter that i wanted, not to mention the right cookies for the grave stone, and the black icing to write “R.I.P.” on the grave stone! i left there feeling tired and out of the holiday spirit. but once returning home i put on a happy face, and jumped right into the kitchen.
baking the cakes went off without any flaws, but then again i have made about a million cupcakes in my lifetime so its really no surprise. i have even come up with my own techniques on how to get the right amount of batter into each individual cup. i use a 1/4 of a cup and a knife to steady the stream, now i am sure that there are alot of people who use this technique, but just let me have my moment.
next duty on the list was to frost them, which would have also been a sinch except stupid wal mart didn’t have my orange frosting, so i had to food coloring to make my white frosting look orange, which is somehow harder than you would think!
next i crumbled the oreos, which i had to peal apart and only use the side without the frosting, not to bad, but just took sometime. i must also add that i crumbled about 15 times to much.
next i decorated them, which is my favorite part cause i get to work my creative magic!!! first i frosted them, and added the oreo crumbles, then i put a pumpkin on top, and one of those plastic spider ring. next i stabbed a malono cookie into half of them and in the other half i put a PEEPS ghost on top. everything was going fine until i realized that i didn’t have any black icing to write the R.I.P. on the cookies. i was pissed, so i ran back to the store, where they charged me $2.00 for a tube that barely weighed as much as i dime. so i came home and wrote on the cookies and thought that i had finished my little “fun” project (4 hours after starting).
but no the “fun” wasn’t over yet, my little ghost decided that they were tired and that they didn’t want to stand up, one, by one they all fell over, so i had to go back and reenforce then with more frosting (thank god i had a lot).
so i guess at the end of the day i was pretty happy with my end result, but the next time i decide to do a fun, easy project i will make sure i have everything, not buy from wal mart, and be in a better holiday mood!
trick or treat?
Hey guys I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally started up my website for my photography!!
